KMNEX Todo — Privacy Policy

The lists, tasks and notes you write in KMNEX Todo are stored only on your phone; they are never sent to us or to a cloud. The app does not require an account. The version downloaded from Google Play may show Google AdMob ads; this policy explains what Google may process.
1. Scope and controller
This policy applies to the KMNEX Todo Android app (package name tr.com.kmnex.todo). Developer and controller: KMNEX. Contact: destek@kmnex.com.
2. Information stored on your device
The app stores the content you enter in a local database on your device:
- Lists (name, colour, icon) and tasks (title, note, priority, due date, reminder, repeat rule, subtasks, completion state),
- Settings such as theme and language,
- Whether the “Full Version” has been purchased.
This data is not sent to us or to any server. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes all of it.
3. Backup file (export/import)
You can export your tasks to a file. You choose where it is saved using Android’s file picker (for example phone storage or your own cloud folder); the app does not send the file anywhere else. Since the file contains your tasks, keep it somewhere you trust.
4. Notifications and alarms
When you set a reminder, the app may ask for the notification permission (Android 13+) and the exact alarm permission (Android 12+). These are used only to show reminders on time. Reminders are re‑created on the device after a restart or a time‑zone change. Reminder notifications never contain ads.
5. Ads (Google AdMob) and consent
The version downloaded from Google Play may show small banner ads at the bottom of list screens; no full‑screen ads are shown. Ads are served through AdMob by Google LLC; for this the app includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK and the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).
- What Google may process: according to Google, the advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, ad interactions and diagnostics, to serve and measure ads and prevent abuse. The content of your tasks is never given to the ad service.
- Consent: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where required by law, the app shows Google’s consent form; you can change your choice in the app settings.
- Advertising ID: can be reset or deleted in Android settings.
- No ads are shown once the Full Version is purchased.

6. In‑app purchase (Google Play)
The ad‑removing “Full Version” is a one‑time purchase handled entirely by Google Play; your payment details never reach us. The app checks the purchase with Google Play on the device.
7. Android backup
The app allows Android’s backup feature. If Google backup is enabled on your device, Android may include your tasks and settings in the backup stored in your Google account and restore them on a new phone. This backup is stored by Google, we have no access to it, and it can be turned off in your device settings.
8. Permissions
- Notifications and exact alarms: for reminders (requested only when you set one).
- Run at startup: to re‑create reminders after the device restarts.
- Internet and advertising ID (AD_ID): only for ads and purchases.
No access to location, contacts, calendar, camera or microphone is requested.
9. Children
KMNEX Todo is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
10. Your rights and data deletion
Your task data exists only on your device, so you can delete it inside the app, or remove it completely by uninstalling the app or clearing its data; we hold no copy to delete. For ad and purchase data processed by Google, use Google’s tools. 11. Changes
If a feature that moves data off your device (such as optional sync) is ever added, this page will be updated before it is released, and the feature will work only if you turn it on.
