KMNEX Zihin — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 October 2026 · Türkçe
KMNEX Zihin does not require an account and does not ask for personal information. Your records, settings and unfinished games stay on your device. The Android version downloaded from Google Play may show Google AdMob ads; this policy explains what Google may process.
1. Scope and controller
This policy applies to the Android (package name tr.com.kmnex.rakam) and Windows versions of KMNEX Zihin (formerly KMNEX Rakam). Developer and controller: KMNEX. Contact: destek@kmnex.com.
2. Information stored on your device
- Settings (theme, language, word language, online check preference, etc.),
- Records for each game and unfinished games,
- Words confirmed in Target Word and added to the local dictionary,
- On Android, whether the “Full Version” has been purchased.
On Windows this data is stored in %APPDATA%\KMNEX\Sudoku\ and is not deleted on uninstall; you can delete it manually. On Android, uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes everything. None of it is sent to us.
3. Internet and network use
| When | Where to | What is sent |
|---|---|---|
| +/− Number Hunt — internet match | Matchmaking (relay) server operated by KMNEX | A 4‑character room code, guesses and their results. No name, account or device identifier is sent. |
| +/− Number Hunt — local network match | Only devices on the same local network | Room announcement (app signature, port and, on Android, the device model / on Windows, the computer name — the other player sees the room listed under this name) guesses and results; data does not leave your local network. |
| Target Word — online word check (optional) | Wiktionary (tr.wiktionary.org / en.wiktionary.org) | Only the word itself, when it is not in the local dictionary. Can be turned off with the “Also check words online” setting. |
| Ads (Android) | Google AdMob | See section 4. |
| Purchases (Android) | Google Play | See section 5. |
The matchmaking server only brings two players together and forwards game messages to the other player; the room code and the connection are used only for the duration of the match. The connection technically uses your IP address. Requests to Wiktionary go to the servers of the Wikimedia Foundation and are subject to its privacy policy; the app sends only the word and a user‑agent line with the app name and version.
The Windows version has no ads or purchases; it connects to the internet only for network matches and the optional word check.
4. Ads (Google AdMob) and consent
The Android version downloaded from Google Play may show occasional interstitial ads after a game ends and optional rewarded ads (e.g. a second chance or an extra hint). No ads are shown during network matches. Ads are served through AdMob by Google LLC; for this the app includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK and the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP).
- What Google may process: according to Google, the advertising ID, IP address, device and app information, ad interactions and diagnostics, to serve and measure ads and prevent abuse. This processing is governed by Google’s privacy policy.
- Consent: in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where required by law, the app shows Google’s consent form; you can change your choice under Settings → Privacy settings. If you do not consent, only limited/non‑personalised ads permitted by law may be shown.
- Advertising ID: can be reset or deleted in Android settings.
- No ads are shown once the Full Version is purchased.

5. In‑app purchase (Google Play)
The ad‑removing “Full Version” is a one‑time purchase handled entirely by Google Play; your payment details never reach us. The app asks Google Play on the device whether the purchase is valid and stores the result on the device.
6. Android backup
The app allows Android’s backup feature. If Google backup is enabled on your device, your settings, records and unfinished games may be included in the backup stored in your Google account. This backup is stored by Google, we have no access to it, and it can be turned off in your device settings.
7. Permissions
- Internet and network state (INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE): for network matches, the optional word check, ads and purchases; network state lets the ad and billing libraries check whether a connection is available.
- Wi‑Fi state and multicast (ACCESS_WIFI_STATE, CHANGE_WIFI_MULTICAST_STATE): to find game rooms on the local network.
- Advertising ID and Android ad services (AD_ID, ACCESS_ADSERVICES_*): added by Google’s ads library; used to serve and measure ads, within your consent and device settings.
- Wake lock and foreground service (WAKE_LOCK, FOREGROUND_SERVICE): added by Google’s libraries so their short background tasks (e.g. completing ad and billing operations) can finish without interruption.
- Google Play billing (BILLING): for the “Full Version” purchase.
No access to location, contacts, camera, microphone or files is requested.
8. Children
KMNEX Zihin is designed for users aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
9. Your rights and data deletion
There is no account and we keep no personal data on our servers, so there is no record to delete; data on your device is removed by uninstalling the app or clearing its data. For ad and purchase data processed by Google, use Google’s tools. For questions about your rights under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK), the GDPR or other applicable law: destek@kmnex.com.
10. Changes
If the app’s use of data changes, we will update this page; the date of the last update is shown at the top.
